Brian Hay | Episode 93
Chef Brian Hay is Instructional Dean of Culinary, Pastry, and Hospitality at Dallas College. He is a Level Two Certified Sommelier and a Certified Specialist in Wine and Spirits. Pairing food and beverages is an art that Chef Brian loves to share with others, and he founded “Art of the Pair” to do just this. He was always drawn to food and cooking from an early age. His mother taught him, and watching “The Galloping Gourmet” laid down foundations for his future passion in life. He loves the challenge of getting every meal perfect every day. Chef Brian talks with us about the most challenging and rewarding parts of being an instructor. He shares his wealth of knowledge of being a Sommelier and the importance of matching the components in food and wine to bring out the best of each.
